Bonny Norton
Bio:
Dr. Bonny Norton (FRSC) is a University Killam Professor and Distinguished University Scholar in the Department of Language and Literacy Education, University of British Columbia, Canada. Her research addresses identity, digital storytelling, and open technology. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the American Educational Research Association. In 2020 she was elected BC Academic of the Year for her leadership of the Global Storybooks Project. Her website is https://faculty.educ.ubc.ca/norton/

Kemal Sinan Özmen
Bio:
Kemal Sinan Özmen is a professor of applied linguistics and teacher education at Gazi University. His research focuses on teaching as a performing art, teacher beliefs, and teacher identity development. He took part in the preparation of two national English curricula and various educational materials, as well as several national reports for the Council of Europe. He is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Language Teaching and Learning. In addition, Dr. Özmen produces works of fiction, mainly novels, and is affiliated with Bilgi Yayınevi and Altın Kitaplar.

Volker Hegelheimer
Bio:
Volker Hegelheimer, (PhD., University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), Professor and Chair, Department of English at Iowa State University, researches applications of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence in language learning and language testing. His publications have appeared in journals such as Language Learning & Technology, Language Testing, System, Computer-Assisted Language Learning, ReCALL, CALICO Journal, and he has contributed to several edited volumes on Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) and language testing. Professor Hegelheimer has presented his research and held academic workshops at numerous national and international conferences and has secured over $3 million in funds from agencies such as Pearson, Educational Testing Service, the National Science Foundation, and the U.S. Department of State. When his administrative role allows, he teaches courses on technology in language teaching and research, language assessment, and research methodology.
