Set in a cozy atmosphere within METU Teknokent, this informal meet-up offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow participants before the convention begins. Gala Dinner
We are pleased to invite you to the Gala Dinner of the 16th METU ELT Convention, to be held on May 8th at 19:00 at Kastro No3, located in the historic Ankara Castle area.
Set in a beautifully preserved historic Ankara mansion, Kastro offers an authentic and nostalgic atmosphere, providing a unique setting for an unforgettable evening. This special night will bring participants together beyond the academic program, creating space for celebration, connection, and shared experience.
The evening will feature live music by the Agapi Ensemble, whose performances reflect the rich musical heritage of Roman, Greek, and Sephardic traditions, celebrating cultural diversity through a vibrant and engaging repertoire.
Coinciding with the spirit of Hıdırellez, a traditional celebration of renewal and wishes, the evening may also include moments where participants can take part in this meaningful cultural tradition.
For your convenience, transportation will be provided from the convention venue to the dinner venue and back.
